Mark founded Brunel Air Cargo with Michael & Richard in August 2014, Mark has been in the Aviation and Freight Forwarding industry for 15 years. Starting his career with the smaller Freight Forwarding companies to Global organisations, this helped develop good strategic relationships and experience across many key vertical markets. Brunel Air Cargo was formed to provide high touch and services that require great attention to detail with the ethos of “excellence in customer service” . Mark’s strategy is to continue developing our presence overseas, whether that would be opening new offices or exclusive agency partnerships, our vision is to create a seamless freight forwarding service for our clients supply chains.
Michael is one of the founding Directors of the Brunel Group of companies – having started Brunel Shipping & Liner Services (London) Ltd in 1998, this office has grown organically and now employs 35 staff at its Basildon facility and with an annual turnover of £16 million. Michael oversees the day-to-day strategic operations for Brunel, and has more than 30 years’ of experience within the industry guiding the Group from strength-to-strength and ensuring future investment and growth into new areas of the ever changing Freight Forwarding industry.
Richard is also the founding Director for the Brunel Group of companies – Richard has in excess of 30 years’ of experience in the Freight Forwarding industry and collectively with Michael is responsible for our growth, client retention and acquisition of new employees. Richard believes in ensuring that the clients requirements are met and actively takes the time to visit and speak to our customers on a daily basis.
Michael is Operations Manager for our LHR office – Michael has 12 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry focused across all modes of transport, and is responsible for our day-to-day operations along with employee training programme’s. Michael also shares the same ethos and vision of serving our clients requirements, and also ensuring full compliance when it comes to Customs regulations and Dangerous Goods management.
Jessica is Team Leader for our Operations & Internal Sales department – Jessica was one of our first members of staff and has gained invaluable experience whilst also learning how to process ATA Carnets right through to arranging the movement of one of the world’s most expensive Ferrari’s. No job is too big or small and Jessica aims to provide our clients with a high level of customer service and professionalism.
Ella is our newest member of staff at Brunel Air Cargo – Ella is new to the Freight Forwarding industry and is enrolled into our internal training program. Ella is a very responsible and key member of the team and like Jessica provides our clients with excellent Customer Service and out of the box thinking, by providing our clients solutions to their shipping problems.
